In 1972 HMS RENOWN and HMS LONDON were on display at the Boat Afloat Show at Little Venice, where they were officially commissioned into the Royal Navy with the help of Jon Pertwee, Leslie Phillips, Stephen Murray, Ronnie Barker. Tenniel Evans and Heather Chasen, members of the cast of the BBC Light Programme comedy series ‘The Navy Lark’.
